‘Taylor Swift: Eras Tour’ Concert Film Has SAG-AFTRA Interim Agreement Says Duncan Crabtree-Ireland -TIFF
deadline.comSAG-AFTRA’s National Executive Director and Chief Negotiator in a pitstop at TIFF revealed that the Taylor Swift: Eras Tour concert film, which is poised to open to $70M-$100M has a SAG-AFTRA interim agreement.
Indiewire’s Anne Thompson who was moderating the discussion if Duncan Crabtree-Ireland should be worried about this newfound success which is bubbling at the box office.
He had a very polite response: “Taylor and her team came to us…the only way she could do it is the right way,” said Crabtree-Ireland. “We’re excited for everyone to go see it,” said the SAG-AFTRA National Director.
As Deadline mentioned, when the Taylor Swift, AMC distributed movie hits theaters on Oct. 13; she’s not on tour. So it won’t be a surprise to see any PR stunts on her behalf during the time the pic comes out.
