Tandem project helps visually impaired people in Lanarkshire enjoy cycling experience

There’s been a surge in the number of people cycling in the last couple of years and a new project aims to make it more accessible for people who are blind or partially sighted.Cycling UK is offering Lanarkshire residents who are visually impaired the opportunity to get on a bike and experience the joy for themselves.

They are also seeking volunteers for their In Tandem project as two heads are better than one when it comes to travelling and four legs may be better than two.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
