Talented Perth boxer Luke Bibby is dreaming of the big time after he won his second professional fight in emphatic fashion.The 23-year-old stopped Nathan Darby after the second round at Alloa Town Hall last Friday night.It makes it two professional wins in two weeks for Luke, who defeated Englishman Mark Butler 60-54 on points last month.Speaking to the PA, he said: “It feels great to have two wins in two weeks.“I’m off to a flyer - I’m buzzing.“After the fight I was ecstatic as I knew I boxed well.“I am a harsh critic of myself so I know that if I feel like I have done well I have definitely done well.“As soon as I came out the ring I knew it was a great performance.“They made the right decision to pull him out after the second round because it was only going to get worse.“The support was unbelievable.”Persistence has paid off for Luke, who had no time to rest or reflect between his fights.“It is a weird one as it is unheard of to have two pro fights in two weeks,” he said.“After the first fight I just brought myself back down to Earth on the Saturday morning and just got back to work.“I never had time to take in the first fight as I had to focus on the next one.“I never had a day off of training.“Then after the second fight I could take a breath now and enjoy the moment.“It has been non-stop - but it has really paid off.”Luke, a former Perth Academy student and proud member of Perth Railway Boxing Club, was a two-time British champion at amateur level.He has worked hard in the gym with coach Billy Nelson to take the step up and adapt to professional bouts.“In the pros you need to slow things down a bit and invest more in the body shots to slow your opponent down,” Luke explained.“That is what we have been working on:
