Lewis Capaldi (born 7 October 1996) is a Scottish singer-songwriter. He was nominated for the Critics' Choice Award at the 2019 Brit Awards. In March 2019, his single "Someone You Loved" topped the UK Singles Chart where it remained for seven weeks, and in October 2019 it reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. On 17 May 2019 he released his debut album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, which remained at the top of the UK Albums Chart for six weeks.

A Lanarkshire schoolboy has been announced as the youngest artist on this year's TRNSMT festival bill.Connor Fyfe, from Bellshill, will make his TRNSMT debut at Glasgow Green on Sunday, July 10.The 15-year-old singer songwriter, who supported The Snuts on their recent tour, is most definitely one to watch.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
