Xherdan Shaqiri says that the Liverpool squad are available to help January arrival Takumi Minamino as the Japanese international adjusts to life in England.
Minamino joined the Reds from Red Bull Salzburg in January having impressed against them in the Champions League this season, but he has so far made a minimal impact in his seven appearances for the club across all competitions.
The current suspension of football means that it will be even tougher for the 24-year-old to get to know his teammates, but Shaqiri says the atmosphere amongst the squad and the amount of German speakers will help him. “To be honest, I’m very nice with everybody, it’s not like I’m really close with somebody.
