‘Abbott Elementary’ Star Lisa Ann Walter Makes Meatballs While Discussing the Teacher Shortage

Selome Hailu Lisa Ann Walter is busy cooking dinner as we talk on the phone. “Hang on one second — I wanna flip my rigatoni into the pot, and I don’t wanna talk over it!” the “Abbott Elementary” actor laughs in the middle of answering a question. “I’m having people over from the cast tomorrow, and some of the crew. Quinta, if she gets back in time from New York, will come over, and I promised her meatballs. Baked pasta, meatballs and sausage.” Titled “The Principal’s Office,” Season 2 Episode 4 of “Abbott Elementary” sees her character, Melissa Schemmenti, invite Janine (series creator Quinta Brunson) over for a cooking lesson. Together, they cook an Italian meal, and Walter is aware of the irony that she’s in an interview about the episode while doing the same. Moments like this have actually caused her to adjust her approach as an actor.

The Teacher fans all have same theory about Sheridan Smith's character in Channel 5 show
Sheridan Smith's new Channel 5 drama The Teacher have all come to the same conclusion about the plot of the show. The debut instalment last night saw Sheridan's incarnation of troubled teacher Jenna Garvey stand accused of abusing a position of trust, and sex with a minor after a drunken night out culminated in a blackout in memory where she allegedly had sex with one of her 15-year-old pupils.Fans of the show were riveted when the debut episode on Monday (January 31) saw Sheridan bring the character - and her very short skirt - to life on the small screen. They were soon left shocked when she drank heavily on a night out causing her to have a blackout and seeing her walk off holding hands with young pupil Kyle.Fast forward to the next morning and Jenna woke up on her sofa alone, with her memories of the events of the night before missing entirely.By Monday morning when the educator showed up at work she was left mortified after being told she was not welcome in the school and had been accused of inappropriate conduct with the minor. As things kicked off on Tuesday's (February 1) instalment of the programme viewers began to develop an interesting theory about the plot of the programme. Her lawyer was seen telling Jenna there was a lack of forensic evidence to prove she had taken part in sexual activity with her pupil, with the bulk of the case built on circumstantial evidence. However, things took an interesting turn when she was shown sexual photos she had allegedly sent the teenager over an app she seemingly had no clue was on her phone - which had notably gone missing for a period in episode one before turning up in a drawer just after one of her colleagues had been in the room.Sleuth-inspired viewers then took to Twitter
