Israel in its war with Hamas, after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared war on the organization Sunday.This declaration followed the Hamas terrorist attacks on Saturday, which have been called the largest escalation in the region in five decades. The attacks resulted in more than 600 fatalities among Israeli civilians and in an unknown number of Israelis being taken hostage by Hamas. Additionally, at least four Americans were confirmed dead.
