LOONA members Yeojin, Gowon and Olivia Hye have reportedly signed with the new K-pop agency CTDENM.On July 5, South Korean news agency ETNews reported that LOONA’s Yeojin, Gowon and Olivia Hye have signed exclusive contracts with CTDENM, citing industry insiders. The news follows the trio’s recent departure from former agency Blockberry Creative.While CTDENM has yet to comment on reports, the newly established agency had signed LOONA members Hyunjin and Vivi last month.

LOONA member Haseul has signed with Modhaus and joined bandmates Heejin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul and Choerry in the ARTMS project.On the night of June 20 KST, Modhaus uploaded a video of Haeul applying her seal to her new contract with Modhaus while discussing her future activities under its ARTMS project. The video is titled ‘Who’s Next Girl?’, a call back to LOONA’s pre-debut rollout where a new member of the group was introduced monthly with solo releases.The following morning (June 21), Modhaus released a statement officially announcing that it had signed an exclusive contract with the singer.

Odd Eye Circle, a sub-unit of K-pop girl group LOONA, have announced their 2023 tour of Europe.Announced at midnight KST today (June 19), Odd Eye Circle’s upcoming 2023 ‘Volume Up’ Europe tour will bring the K-pop trio to four cities across the continent.On 5 August, Odd Eye Circle – comprising Jinsoul, Kim Lip and Choerry – will kick off their upcoming Europe tour in London. In the following week, the trio will also play shows in Berlin (August 7), Warsaw (August 9) and Paris (August 11)The 2023 ‘Volume Up’ Europe tour is in partnership with MyMusicTaste, according to the tour’s poster.

LOONA have reportedly won their lawsuit against Blockberry Creative.Today (June 16), South Korean news outlets Segye Ilbo and Seoul Economic Daily reported that the Seoul High Court’s civil affairs department ruled in favour of LOONA members – namely Haseul, Yeojin, Yves, Olivia Hye and Go Won – in their lawsuit against Blockberry Creative.According to the two reports, the court had ruled in favour of suspending the Blockberry Creative contracts of the K-pop idols as it believed that there was an issue over the company’s decision to transfer the girl group’s contracts to Universal Japan without the members’ consent.Some members of LOONA have since reacted to the news with posts on Instagram. Notably, Yves posted an image of actress Nicole Kidman after her divorce from Tom Cruise in 2001.

K-pop girl group LOONA have signed with a new agency, headed by former a Blockberry Creative director.On June 12, newly founded entertainment agency CTDENM released a statement sharing that it had signed exclusive contracts with LOONA’s Hyunjin and Vivi. The news comes four months after it was reported that the two idols had filed injunctions to suspend their contracts with agency Blockberry Creative.Per Maeil Kyeongje, as translated by Soompi, CTDENM said: “We would like to thank Hyunjin and Vivi for joining us at this new starting point, and we will do our utmost in giving our unsparing support to these two artists in the future so that their talents can blossom even more beautifully.”“We hope that you’ll take a fond interest in Hyunjin’s and Vivi’s futures, and we ask that you look forward to what CTDENM has in store as well,” it added.The new agency is reportedly founded by Yoon Do-yeon, who had previously worked with LOONA while under Blockberry Creative as a director in its planning division.

Blockberry Creative’s petition to ban former LOONA singer Chuu’s domestic entertainment activities has reportedly been dismissed by the Korea Entertainment Management Association (CEMA).In February 2023, CEMA revealed to news outlets that Blockberry Creative had petitioned it in December 2022 for the suspension of ex-LOONA’s Chuu’s entertainment activities in South Korea.According to CEMA, the K-pop agency claimed that Chuu had violated the terms of their previous contract, alleging that she had moved to sign a with new agency BY4MSTUDIO in 2021, when her exclusive contract with Blockberry Creative was still active.Earlier today (April 4), South Korean news outlet TV Report reported that CEMA has since concluded its investigation and allegedly ruled in favour of Chuu after judging that Blockberry Creative’s claims regarding her violation of contract terms had been made on “insufficient grounds”.According to TV Report, CEMA has reportedly found there to be no evidence suggesting that Chuu and BY4MSTUDIO had made prior contact, adding that the issue of the agency’s claims should instead be addressed in court as part of the ongoing legal dispute between Blockberry Creative and Chuu.NME has reached out to Blockberry Creative for comment.Chuu had been a member of girl group LOONA until November 2022, when Blockberry Creative announced her expulsion from the group due to the singer’s alleged “violent language and misuse of power toward our staff”.
