Rapper DMX has died at the age of 50.

DMX, the first hip-hop artist ever to top the charts with his initial five albums and almost his sixth, has died. He was 50.

Rest in peace. DMX died on Friday, April 9, after his April 2 overdose, Us Weekly confirms.

DMX's condition is said to be rapidly deteriorating, as his organs are "failing by the minute".
