Roblox Corporation, the developer behind the massively successful online video game Roblox, with a $200million lawsuit alleging widespread copyright infringement.The suit was filed by the National Music Publishers’ Association (NMPA) on behalf of big publishers such as ABKCO Music & Records and indie labels such as Big Machine Records. It alleges that the video game company has not been taking necessary steps to prevent copyright infringement by its users, leading to an “unabashed exploitation of music without proper licenses”.

Activision is allegedly developing a new mobile title in its popular Call Of Duty series, following 2019’s Call Of Duty: Mobile by TiMi Studios.This is according to several new job listings that recently appeared on the company’s careers website, which revealed that a “new in-house studio” called Activision Mobile has been set up in order to work on “a new AAA mobile title in the Call Of Duty franchise. The company also noted that the brand-new developer will be “dedicated to developing the best AAA mobile games in the world”.“We’re looking for great talent from mobile, console and PC backgrounds passionate about their work, who share our belief in what AAA experiences on mobile can and should be,” the job listing read.

Genshin Impact‘s 1.6 update, which will be arriving on June 9.In time with the changing season, the update is titled Midsummer Island Adventure, which also introduces summery alternative outfits for a few of the game’s characters.In this update, players will be able to join Klee on a boat that will take them to a new secluded archipelago. Pokémon GO Fest will be returning this summer as a two-day global event.As announced in a post on the game’s official website by developer Niantic, the event will run from July 17 and 18.Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual Pokémon GO festival adopted a new worldwide format so that players around the world could take part.
