‘Tacoma FD’ Canceled At TruTV After 4 Seasons
deadline.comThere will no Season 5 for Tacoma FD. TruTV has canceled the comedy series, its last remaining scripted series, after four seasons, Deadline has confirmed.
The Season 4 finale, which aired in October, will now serve as the series finale. Starring and created by Super Troopers‘ Kevin Heffernan (Fire Chief Terry McConky) and Steve Lemme (Captain Eddie Pinisi), Tacoma FD was set in a firehouse in one of America’s rainiest cities, where firefighters kept themselves entertained with creative competitions, friendly first responder rivalries and bizarre emergency calls.
Cast also included Marcus Henderson (Granny), Gabriel Hogan (Ike), and Hassie Harrison (Lucy). Chris Avila joined Season 4 as new recruit Mickelberry.
Celebrity guests appearing in Season 4 included Tony Danza as a guardian angel, David Arquette as Teddy Dickosi, Captain Penisi’s rival for the approval of the Chief, and more including Dexter Loomis, MC Gainey, Timothy Murphy & Amin Joseph.
