Newly-released images of King Charles with his grandkids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, have been revealed ahead of the Coronation.The never-before-seen snapshots were unveiled in a BBC documentary titled "Charles R: The Making of a Monarch" that aired on Tuesday night.
It's believed that the photographs were taken back in 2016, and capture some truly heartwarming moments. In one of the pictures, Prince Charles is seen sitting at a picnic table beside a young Prince George, who is holding a glass of juice.The little prince is wearing a navy T-shirt, while his grandfather looks sharp in a pinstripe suit and a teal tie.The second image captures a beaming Princess Charlotte, dressed in a charming blue dress with a matching hair bow, being entertained by Charles.The proud grandfather appears to be holding something in his hand as he spends quality time with his granddaughter.
During a previous interview, Charles shared his concern for the environment and how his grandchildren inspire him to take action.
In the interview, which aired in conjunction with the adorable photographs, he expressed: “I mind so much about the future, what we're going to leave to our children and grandchildren.That's what really gets me going.” Elsewhere, in footage from when he was just 18, Charles says: “I like to think of us more as a family rather than as a firm.
