Young Sweden Under-21 international midfielder Otto Rosengren says he was “shocked” to learn that Manchester United supposedly hold an interest in him.
The 19-year-old plays for native top-flight club Mjallby AIF, whose director, Hans Larsson, made the claim last week. “Viborg, AGF and Manchester United, among others, have been looking at him,” he said.
Larsson said club scouts had been to watch Rosengren several times already although nothing official has yet been lodged. The teenager - who has only played 38 senior games in his career - admitted he was surprised to hear about the interest from Old Trafford.
