Sutton Foster Brings Broadway Performance in 'Once Upon a Mattress' to L.A. for the Holiday Season!
justjared.comSutton Foster led the Broadway revival of Once Upon a Mattress this year and now the show is being performed in Los Angeles!
The two-time Tony-winning actress celebrated the opening night of Center Theatre Group’s production of the musical on Friday (December 13) at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles. Sutton was joined on the red carpet by her co-stars Michael Urie and Ana Gasteyer, who also are reprising their roles from the Broadway production.
A concert production of Once Upon a Mattress, with a new book adaptation from Amy Sherman-Palladino, was originally staged as part of the New York City Center Encores!
series in January 2024. The production then transferred to Broadway in summer 2024 and ran through November 30. One week later, the show is now in Los Angeles!
