A man has been charged over alleged 'tragedy chanting' at the Manchester United v Liverpool FA Cup match. The charge comes following a Greater Manchester Police investigation into a video shared of 'a man in the home section of the Old Trafford crowd', a spokesperson for the force said.
Michael Bernard Avery has since been charged. The 44-year-old has been charged under section 4a of the Public Order Act 1986 and has since been bailed.

George Fenning, 39, of Craigentinny Road, Edinburgh, was charged with possession of a class B drug, possession of a pyrotechnic and throwing missiles.
