Susanna Reid has paid tribute to the man who died jumping into the River Thames to save a woman who fell. Good Morning Britain host Susanna, 50, spoke about samaritan Folajimi Olubunmi-Adewole 20, known as Jimi, and his heroic act which resulted in his tragic death.
She said: "This is a tragic story about Folajimi Olubunmi-Adewole who died at the weekend. "A woman fell from London Bridge and two men dived into the water to try to save her.
The coastguard and marine police patrols were able to rescue the woman who originally fell and one of the men but they weren't able to rescue Folajimi. "He sounds like an absolutely remarkable person, his family and friends have paid tribute to him. "He was linked to the charity Malcolm’s World
