metro.co.ukNBC’s Surface star Eddie Hassell has been shot dead aged 30 after a suspected carjacking in the US.Eddie’s rep confirmed the news to TMZ, stating the incident took place on Sunday morning somewhere in Texas, United States.They claim his team is working on getting more information.Eddie was born on July 16, 1990 in Corsicana, Texas.
He landed a number of small television and film roles over the years. Most notably, the late star portrayed Clay in the 2010 movie The Kids Are All Right, alongside Julianne Moore and Mark Ruffalo.
He also played Phil Nance on NBC’s sci-fi series Surface, which also features Leighton Meester and Lake Bell.His last film appearance was in Oh Lucy!
