Supermarkets have issued urgent recalls on a number of products due to salmonella and allergy fears. Lidl, Sainsbury's, Tesco, Asda and Morrisons are all recalling products for safety reasons with chicken pasta, quorn, chocolate and pork scratching on a list of potentially contaminated items.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) keeps a watchful eye over which supermarket items need to be withdrawn for the wellbeing of customers.There are fears that some of the items may contain salmonella, a dangerous bacteria which causes food poisoning and an upset stomach, diarrhoea, fever and cramping in your belly.Others could products such as milk could could prove fatal to people with bad allergies or intolerances to dairy.
