Shoppers are complaining that supermarkets have been rammed due to people rushing to them ahead of tomorrow's closures. All major UK supermarkets are set to be shut for the day due to the Queen's funeral.

Several people in Greater Manchester took to social media to talk about huge queues this afternoon (Sunday September 18) and accuse people of 'panic buying', with others likening the scenes to Christmas Eve.

One tweeter described Tesco Stretford as 'pure chaos', while a shopper in Tesco Prestwich said that customers were "queuing round the shop for the tills".
