Supermarkets including Asda, Tesco and Aldi are changing their hours over Easter weekend - here's what you need to know so you can prepare for a trip.

Most stores have already switched up their hours so staff can restock, elderly can shop and NHS workers can get their groceries.

This weekend, shops will operate reduced hours and some will close as is tradition on Easter Sunday. If you are heading out to get groceries, make sure you are only going for essentials and follow social-distancing measures.

You can check the opening hours of your local Asda using the  store locator. Tesco Express will continue to open from 7am to 10pm over the bank holiday.
