‘Superman’ Crew Member Confirmed As Worker Who Died By Suicide At Trilith Studios Near Atlanta

deadline.comSources tell Deadline a female Teamster working on the James Gunn-directed Superman was the worker who died by suicide Wednesday at Trilith Studios near Atlanta.
As we reported yesterday, officers and medical personnel responded to a report of an “unconscious adult contractor” inside a vehicle on the studio property at around 6:47 a.m.
Wednesday, according to a police statement. The person was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Police said foul play is not suspected and the investigation is not connected to any ongoing studio projects.
The vehicle was located in the crew parking lot. We hear filming was not occurring at the time of the shooting, which happened overnight.
