Sugababes star almost died in horror crash after she 'blacked out' behind the wheel

Sugababes star Keisha Buchanan has opened up about a terrifying near-death experience following a horrific car crash.The 40-year-old singer revealed she "blacked out at the wheel" during the shocking incident as she reflected on her life over the past 12 months.The singer decided it was time to share her ordeal with her fans, posting a photo from the crash scene featuring a smashed telephone box and a police car with its blue lights flashing.

She wrote: "This time last year I blacked out at the wheel...Thank you Jesus for my life.Thankful for another year... will speak more on the cause behind the black out another time.

Just happy to be here." Keisha, who was part of the original Sugababes line-up alongside Mutya Buena and Siobhán Donaghy when she was just 13 years old, enjoyed massive success with the band after joining in 1998.

However, her world came crashing down in 2009 when she was unceremoniously dumped from the group via text. She recently confessed that she is "still confused by some of the things that happened during that time".
