Amelle Berrabah has opened up about how suffering the death of her mother and the end of her marriage within the space of a few weeks affected her.
The Sugababes singer, 36, lost her mum and split from Marcio Sousa Rosa after five years of marriage at the beginning of lockdown.
She says she struggled to cope and would often "break down" while putting her her two-year-old daughter Amirah to bed. Amelle admitted that not being able to see anyone during lockdown made it even more difficult to cope with.
Speaking to OK! magazine, Amelle said: "As soon as the clock struck 8pm and she was in bed, every emotion would come out of me." "If she [Amirah] wasn't around I don't know how I would have coped.
