A shopper has been left stumped by their festive pie from Aldi. Shopper Mark Brown joked their Christmas had been "ruined" early by the strange baked good, which he says he purchased from the budget supermarket for £2.79.
But a glaring problem with the pie soon arose, and 42-year-old Mark was left red in the face as a result. After buying the pie and a few other items from Aldi to taste test for his review page, Mark of Right Guys Reviews claims he was left short-changed by the experience.
Despite promises of a flavoursome filling of chicken breast pieces, gravy, a pig in a blanket and all the trimmings, the Crestwood festive pie featured nothing of the sort.
Instead, Mark said that after biting into the pie, he was disappointed to find it had no filling. "Christmas is ruined," Mark, from Middlesbrough, joked.
