Strictly Come Dancing's Wynne Evans' girlfriend, Liz Brookes, has taken to Instagram to show her support for her partner's performance, despite fans claiming he was "overmarked" by the judges.The Welsh opera singer and former Go Compare advert star performed an American smooth with his professional partner Katya Jones, which included elements of Foxtrot, Tango, Waltz, and Viennese Waltz.The routine was choreographed by Katya to Mika's Grace Kelly.

Liz, who has been dating Wynne since the start of the year, shared a photo of the pair together on Instagram, writing: "Knocks it out of the park again!" The judges were impressed with the performance, with Anton Du Beke giving the couple a high score of 9.

Shirley Ballas called their dance "wonderful", while Anton praised it as "technically great, joie de vivre and energy, powerful lifts, smooth like it says on the tin".

However, viewers at home disagreed with the judges' scores, accusing them of showing "favouritism" towards 52 year old Wynne.
