The pair had to bounce back during week nine of the BBC One dance contest, which was broadcast live from Blackpool's Tower Ballroom in Strictly's annual special, after landing in the dreaded dance-off last weekend.
Strictly celebrated its 20th year by opening with the professional dancers dancing to the Pet Shop Boys performing a medley of their hits, including It’s A Sin, Suburbia and What Have I Done To Deserve This, before the eight remaining couples took to the famous sprung floor. Co-host Tess Daly said they were the 100th Strictly couple to perform in Blackpool before they were awarded 37 points, their highest score of the series.
