Comedian Josh - who is competing on this year's Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special - revealed his family's painful experience with miscarriage during a conversation with guest Geoff Norcott.
Recognised for interjecting humour with thoughtful commentary, Geoff shared his own history with pregnancy loss, stating: "It was a hard thing to go through, but we had a couple of miscarriages, then we had a loss of a very late stage pregnancy." He strongly endorsed open dialogue among men on these topics, adding: "I do think it's important that blokes talk about this because it's hard enough for women, but blokes tend to just internalise and kind of not really mention it." Josh, who shares his children with spouse Rose Hanson, was inspired by Geoff's openness to unveil his own heartfelt admission: "I think it's interesting you say about, 'not wanting to talk about it', because I haven't spoke about it on here before because we were pregnant but we had a miscarriage between our two children." Highlighting the silence that often surrounds such losses, he continued addressing the prevalence of the issue by saying: "It's not spoken in the same way as loads of other things.
