Jamie Laing certainly hasn't appeared to lack confidence on Strictly Come Dancing, keeping everyone entertained with his good humour.

But the 32 year old was deeply affected by the comments of a friend in 2018, when he was told he looked old compared to his then-girlfriend, 19 year old Heloise Agostinelli.

Determined to knock a few years off, he underwent a gruelling eight-hour hair transplant - despite surgeons assuring him he didn't need one.

Speaking on his podcast Private Parts, Jamie said: “My friend decided to go for a hair transplant and I decided to go with him. “I think we got a little bit of a discount.
