It’s back to the French capital for more sporting glory as the 2024 Paralympic Games get underway – and Channel 4 has assembled a star-studded presenting team to cover all the exciting events.
From seasoned sports presenter Clare Balding and Paralympian Ade Adepitan to former racing driver Billy Monger and TikTok star Fats Timbo, some of the biggest names on TV are covering more than 1,300 hours of live sport.
Five-time gold medallist Ellie Simmonds will make her live presenting debut during the 2024 Games. She first discovered disabled swimming watching the Paralympics 20 years ago. “I remember watching Athens 2004, because before that I didn’t know there was disabled sport,” says Ellie, who has dwarfism. “I saw people like myself and thought, ‘There’s a thing out there for me.
