A Strictly Come Dancing contestant could be 'axed' from the upcoming series due to their drug history, it has been claimed.This year's line-up is yet to be confirmed by the BBC, but there are a number of celebrities rumoured to be taking part.
Among those names is ex-rugby ace Danny Cipriani, 36, who is believed to have already signed a contract with the BBC. However, the star's Strictly dreams could be over before they've really began due to his history of drug use.
With the hit show facially scrutiny due to scandals involving professional dancers Giovanni Pernice and Graziano Di Prima, who have both been axed from the show, it's understood that the BBC are keen to have no controversies surrounding the upcoming series.
Danny, who competed in Strictly's Christmas special in December, has been open and honest about his past, especially in his recent memoir.
