Strictly Come Dancing star Wynne Evans' life took quite a turn eight years back when he split from his wife Tanwen, ending their 16-year marriage before he had to leave the family home.
Post-divorce, the much-loved BBC Radio Wales host made a tentative offer on a rundown property in Cardiff that was, in his own words, "terrible" at the time of purchase.
Speaking to Rich Leigh on The Starting Line podcast, Wynne shared his emotions: "It was a really sad house, because it was derelict, and I moved here after a divorce.
I didn't want to move here, I wanted to stay married." He lamented over how his new place echoed with sorrow: "So I bought it and it just became sad.
