Wynne Evans has addressed 'conspiracy theories' surrounding his latest appearance on Strictly Come Dancing after fans were left concerned.

During week five of the BBC One dance contest on Saturday night (October 9), the opera singer and his professional dance partner Katya Jones performed a "beautiful" and bouncy quickstep as they returned to the ballroom following their "inside joke" row.

They performed to the upbeat Mr Blue Sky by Electric Light Orchestra after the pair apologised for a "silly joke" that saw Katya move Wynne's hand from her waist last week while she also refused to give him a high-five. But while Wynne, 52, was shown walking down the stairs with his partner at the start of the live show as expected, and later was seen on the dancefloor with Katya, some noticed his appearances in the 'Claudatorium', where the celebrities and professional dancers wait between performances, were few and far between.
