Strictly's Wynne Evans breaks cover as he takes time off from BBC role after 'inappropriate' remark

Strictly Come Dancing's Wynne Evans has been pictured as it's been revealed that he is taking a break from his BBC Radio Wales show.

Wynne has been seen out in Liverpool with Katya Jones on Monday 27 January, following his apology for an "unacceptable" remark he made at the Strictly tour launch.

Wynne and Katya were seen bundled up from the cold weather as he donned a black padded jacket and black sunglasses as they took a stroll, on Wynne's 53rd birthday.The Welsh tenor usually hosts a weekday morning music and chat show on the BBC station, but broadcaster Robin Morgan sat in for him on Monday during the 9am to midday slot.

It is understood that Morgan will continue to present in Wynne's place during his absence. A spokesperson for BBC Wales said: "Wynne is taking some time off from his show on Radio Wales.
