One of Wynne Evans' Strictly Come Dancing co-stars has spoken out about him suffering a 'tough time' after his surprise exit from the hit dance show's live tour.

The opera singer took part in the BBC One dance contest last year where he was paired with professional dancer Katya Jones. The pair lost their place in the 2024 series following the show's annual Blackpool special, which once again fell just weeks before the grand final.

Wynne and Katya then signed up to the Strictly Come Dancing Live 2025 tour, which kicked off back in January and ended on Sunday night (February 9) and saw a number of stars from Strictly's 20th-anniversary series performing for fans in arenas up and down the country.

However, their partnership came to a dramatic end just before were due to take to the stage on January 28, 11 days after the tour's opening night, in Liverpool after Wynne confirmed he was taking a step back from his work commitments.
