Strictly's Shirley Ballas, 62, will be separated from partner Danny Taylor over much of the festive season due to his hectic pantomime schedule, while she will be enjoying quality time with her dancer son, Mark. She has now revealed in a brand new interview that she is taking marriage with Danny off the cards, although she previously told the world he'd already bought a ring for her and she was constantly "giving him a nudge" to propose.Shirley will not be participating in panto this year and is taking time off over Christmas to "collect herself" after intense trolling during the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing. Her very different Christmas schedule, including plans to see her Dancing With The Stars champ son Mark for the big day, means she'll be apart from her beau Danny, 48."Danny’s in a big panto in Blackpool – I really haven’t got to see him much at all this year," she lamented to S magazine."I’m busy with Strictly and he’s busy with the panto - and the thing I’ve probably decided is that we’re really good as we are right now."Take marriage or anything like that off the table," she insisted, adding: "We’ll just see where it goes."The comments are a dramatic departure from those she made in previous years, announcing that Danny already had a ring stashed away ready for proposing to her.Back in 2020, she had suggested that marriage could "possibly" be on the cards for the following year - but it seems the proposal never took place. She told The Sun that the confinement and isolation during lockdown had led to the pair getting to know each other "inside out" and discovering how "compatible" they were. Now it seems that Shirley is in no major hurry to tie the knot. However, she added to the aforementioned publication.
