But in an exclusive and in-depth chat with OK! during a break from his rigorous rehearsing for Strictly Come Dancing, he explains why it's taken them so long to set a date.
Shayne and Sophie, who is famous for playing Lindsey Butterfield in Hollyoaks, got together in 2015 and welcomed their little girl Willow-May in December of the following year, before announcing a short time later that they were engaged.
But seven years on, the pair have yet to make it official - but Shayne says they've had a very good reason for waiting. "When me and Sophie first got engaged, we hadn’t thought about a date but we knew it would be in the near future," he told us. "Then our focus became about having a second child, and our beautiful son Reign was born." Their much-wanted second child, Reign was born in June 2022 and the couple have been focussing on their happy family of four - as well as their busy acting careers.
