Strictly's Joe Sugg lands first TV acting role in new series of BBC's The Syndicate

Joe Sugg is set to make his television debut when he appears in the latest season of BBC series, The Syndicate. The 29-year-old YouTube star, who competed in Strictly Come Dancing in 2018, will be playing a character called Sam in the upcoming fourth season.

While Joe is known for his YouTube content and television appearances, this will be Joe's first TV acting gig. The series is set to follow the story of a lottery winning syndicate at a dog kennels in Yorkshire.

Joe will assume the character Sam, a budding musician who is the boyfriend of lottery ticket winner Roxy. For his upcoming role, Joe will also be joining a stellar line up that includes Matthew Lewis, Joanna Page and Sir Lenny Henry.
