Janette Manrara has sparked a debate amongst fans as she made a return to work just six weeks after giving birth to daughter Lyra.The Strictly Come Dancing star and her husband Aljaz Skorjanec welcomed their little girl less than two months ago on July 28.
Now her return to the BBC has lead to discussion over mother's going back to work after maternity leave.The 39-year-old Cuban-American dance star rose to fame in the UK back in 2013 when she made her debut on Strictly Come Dancing as a professional.
She has now left the main show but has carried on as a presenter of the support show It Takes Two - where she has worked since 2021.The mum-of-one also presents for other BBC shows and marked her return to the BBC’s morning show Morning Live earlier this week.
Being back in work just weeks after giving birth seems to have ruffled some feathers of the viewers. She posted a photograph on Instagram of her baby girl watching her on the television during her first appearance back.
