Strictly's Helen Skelton candidly admits she’s 'p****d off' in wake of Richie Myler split

Her marriage ended nearly six months ago, and she recently discussed how she has managed the situation.The star has moved to Cumbria from Leeds following the breakdown of her marriage, where her family home is.Regarding the situation, she clarified she doesn’t see herself as the victim, and doesn’t view anything from a lens of self-pity.“There’s loads of stuff to ask me about that’s really interesting, that’s not ‘Ohhh, poor you’.“I don’t see myself as a victim, no, because I mean, look…“There are a lot of people who have been in my situation who haven’t been given the opportunities that I’ve got.” She conceded, however, that she isn’t perfect.
Helen added: “Don’t get me wrong, I have my days when I’m p****d off.” Aside from the break-up of her marriage, the star also spoke to The Telegraph about the death of two of her cousins.
She furthered it was difficult to talk about emotional pain with her family as they were typically “stoic” and “stiff upper-lipped” in the Cumbrian fashion.
Helen admitted her family “wouldn’t like it” if she talked about it with them. In this year’s Strictly season, Helen is partnered with Gorka Marquez.
