His partner, This Morning regular, Dr Punam Krishan, said of dancing with the Spanish native, who has scored more tens than any other pro dancer currently on the show, “Oh I'm absolutely buzzing.
I think we are the perfect pairing.” Indeed, it’s an exciting time for the Spanish star - who is married to actress and Radio presenter Gemma Atkinson, who he met when she appeared on Strictly herself, and with whom he shares two children.
But in a candid moment on his social media, Gorka, 34, opened up on Instagram that he was feeling torn about being away from his beloved family for the show.
