Strictly Come Dancing winners Giovanni Pernice and Rose Ayling-Ellis were as happy as ever to be reunited as they practice ahead of the show's live tour.

The duo were fan favourites from week one, as Rose was the first ever deaf contestant to take part and win the BBC ballroom dancing show as her and Giovanni took home the Glitterball trophy last year.

The Strictly tour starts this week and the contestants have been rehearsing non-stop again, as the Italian heartthrob, 31, has gushed at how "nice" it has been to be back with his EastEnders dance partner.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, Giovanni shared a sweet video of the pair backstage in rehearsals as they gushed at how good it was to be back together.Turning the camera on himself and his partner, Rose, 27, is hiding behind Giovanni as fans aren't allowed to see her new costume before the big reveal on tour.She explained how the pair were busy doing a dress run for the tour, which judge Bruno Tonioli was back for.Giovanni then jumped in and sweetly said: "So yeah, dress run is going very well."Turning to his partner he sweetly adds: "It's nice to dance with you again," before repeating himself.Rose agreed, saying: "Yeah, it's lovely to dance again and bring happy memories."Giovanni then pretends to be a hard task master as he jokes: "Now go and practice."There had been rumours that the winners had pulled out of the tour and Giovanni was quick to dispel them - but not before teasing fans earlier in the week.Following the claims, the professional dancer again took to social media to record a message.He said: "Good morning lovely people.
