Giovanni Pernice has excitedly revealed details of a new career venture after being axed from Strictly Come Dancing.The professional dancer won't be appearing in this year's series of the BBC One show following the investigation into Amanda Abbington's misconduct claims against him.
Giovanni vehemently denies the claims. The 34-year-old dancer has now announced he'll be returning to the dancefloor and is set to join the cast of the Italian dance show, Ballando con le Stelle.The programme is Italy's version of Strictly or Dancing with the Stars.
Giovanni posted a video to Instagram to share the exciting news, along with the caption: "Hey guys!! I’m delighted to announce that from next week I will be joining the cast of @ballandoconlestelle - the Italian Dancing with the Stars.
I can’t wait to get started and to get back to dancing for all of you! Thank you for all of your continued support!" His announcement was met with support from fans, with one person commenting: "You will definitely be missed here in the UK!
