Giovanni Pernice has said 'I haven't left' as he spoke directly to his fans amid Strictly Come Dancing's return to screens. The 34-year-old spent several years as a professional dancer on the hit BBC One dance contest.
However, earlier this year, an investigation was launched by the BBC following allegations made about the dancer by former Strictly participant Amanda Abbington, with the results yet to be made public.
Sherlock actress Amanda was the first to allege "inappropriate" behaviour on the show and claimed she was subject to a "toxic environment" while she danced alongside Giovanni, who rejects the allegations. In a message posted on Instagram earlier this month, he confirmed he'd be appearing on Ballando con le Stelle, saying he was "excited" to be back on the dancefloor.
