Strictly Come Dancing star Eddie Kadi has paid tribute to his professional partner Karen Hauer, labelling her a “queen” after the pair left the competition on Sunday night.Their shock exit came after Eddie and Karen scored 24 out of 40 for their Samba to the song Calm Down by Rema and Selena Gomez on Saturday 21 October, leaving them bottom of the leaderboard.

The dance duo faced Love Island legend Zara McDermott, 26, and Graziano Di Prima in the dreaded dance off on Sunday following the public vote.

However, despite his best efforts, the judges decided to save Zara, meaning 40 year old Eddie and 41 year old Karen missed out on Halloween week.

When speaking to host Tess Daly, Eddie shared his thoughts on his journey, as he explained: “I’ve really enjoyed this, it’s something I’ve always wanted to do – I love dancing. “This has been the highest moment of my career – it’s the happiest I’ve ever been, but not just for me – my family - my little baby girl is at home doing the Men in Black dance. “More importantly, this little African boy, I just wanted my culture to shine.
