Chris McCausland lost his sight at the age of 22 after years of slowly going blind due to a hereditary condition called retinitis pigmentosa.
Having carved out a career as a stand-up comedian, the star is now making history as the first-ever blind contestant to compete on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing.
Chris, 47, blew Strictly fans away with his first live performance alongside pro Dianne Buswell, 35, during the launch show, with many taken aback by his ability to dance without his sight.
However, it hasn't always been easy for the comedian. He's been open about his struggles in the past, once admitting he would have "tantrums" due to his blindness and even struggled to accept himself.
