Carlos Gu has admitted that he and Nancy Xu 'argue' as he spoke out on their alleged feud for the first time this week.The pair have been close pals since growing up together in China, but reportedly found their friendship strained when Nancy was given a celebrity partner on this year's Strictly and Carlos wasn't.

But assuring they are 'fine', Carlos, 33, told The Daily Mail: "We're fine. We've been friends since childhood, and friends argue, we're too close and are like brother and sister to completely fall out." His comments come after a source told The Sun last week that things are frosty between Carlos and Nancy, 34, who even appear to have removed one another on social media.They said: 'The feud between Nancy and Carlos is really sad and has left everyone really shocked. "'They've been close since childhood, but have fallen out and unfollowed each other on socials.The atmosphere on set is said to be awkward and tense when both are around, and to many it was a relief when Carlos didn't attend the show weeks ago.

Carlos is said to be subdued after the falling-out and is also struggling with not getting a celebrity partner. His friends are worried about him as he is so far away from his family.

They added that Carlos has deleted pictures of Nancy from his Instagram page, signalling the end of the road: "He has wiped all pictures of her from his profile and unfollowing each other on Instagram is the ultimate finality in their friendship.
