Strictly's Bobby Brazier 'glad' over co-star Amanda Abbington's shock exit

Strictly Come Dancing’s Bobby Brazier has said he is “glad”, after it was announced that Amanda Abbington and Giovanni Pernice will not be returning after they missed Saturday’s show.The news was confirmed during Strictly: It Takes Two on Monday, 24 October, and this morning Bobby and his dance partner Dianne Buswell appeared on Lorraine to talk about the series on Tuesday, ahead of Halloween week.

However, during the interview host Christine Lampard spoke to them about Amanda’s shock decision to leave. Dianne said: "We are going to miss her a lot in the competition." Bobby then added: "I'm still going to go to hers and have dinner," with Dianne explaining that the pair had spoken about that before Amanda's exit.

The EastEnders actor then continued: "She's lovely, but I'm glad she's doing what she wants." A spokesperson for Strictly Come Dancing has said: “Amanda Abbington is unable to continue in Strictly Come Dancing and has decided to withdraw from the competition.The show wishes her all the best for the future.” Giovanni broke his silence on the news shortly after it was confirmed.Taking to Instagram the 33 year old said: “Amanda ..
