Dianne Buswell and Chris McCausland tackled the Paso Doble during this evening's instalment of Strictly Come Dancing. Following the tricky routine, Dianne, 35, and Chris, 47, appeared thrilled they had pulled it off - and it left her parents, Mark and Rina, in floods of tears as they watched the fan favourites as part of the live audience.

As Dianne and comedian Chris shared an embrace after their routine, the BBC cameras panned to the Australian dancer's parents, who were both seen wiping their eyes and crying.

As the pair waited to be critiqued by the judges, Tess Daly said: "Oh, Mark is crying. Don't make me cry, Mark." Fans flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, to comment on the emotional moment with one writing: "MARK AND RINA HAVE ME SOBBING I'M SO HAPPY CHRIS & DIANNE ARE STILL IN SO WE COULD GET THIS MOMENT."
