Now, fans have changed their tune as some fear this could have been Dianne’s last year on the BBC show. In a Reddit forum, Strictly fans have a feeling Dianne won’t be coming back and that she’ll leave on a high.

One wrote: “I can see Dianne leaving,” one user added in the forum. “I don’t think she’ll be able to top this partnership and this series.” A third speculated that “she’s wanted to branch out into TV as well”.

Another added that she could “easily host a TV show of some description”. Another said: “I wouldn’t be surprised if Dianne left to focus either on other career developments or family,” says a third.
