The Strictly Come Dancing team have taken to social media to pay tribute to late dancer Robin Windsor, who sadly passed away age 44.
News of Robin's passing broke on Monday, 19 February, with dance company Burn The Floor announcing his death online.Tributes to the late star, who appeared on Strictly from 2010 until 2014, have been pouring in, with dozens of celebrities sharing their devastation.
In a statement shared to Instagram, the Strictly team described professional dancer Robin as "exceptionally talented" and "kind", as well as a "dear friend". "The whole Strictly family are deeply saddened to hear the news about our dear friend Robin Windsor," the statement began. "He was not only an exceptionally talented dancer and choreographer but also a caring, considerate and kind person both on and off the dancefloor." It concluded: "Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this extremely difficult time." The Strictly team shared a promo shot of Robin from his time on the show alongside the statement.
Several Strictly stars and celebrities flocked to leave tributes to Robin under the post. Johannes Radebe wrote: "Heartbreaking," while Gorka Marquez said: "terrible news".
